Will this work in my draughty workshop?
Yes. Unlike HVAC systems – where heat rises, sits at ceiling level, and is often lost through draughts in the roof – WarmTronics uses radiant FAR-infrared heat to warm people directly, rather than warming the air around them.
Ceiling height is irrelevant. We operate effectively in warehouses and industrial buildings with 15m+ ceilings.
Will it work next do roller-shutter doors or loading bays?
Most conventional heaters in factories or workshops are convection-based, meaning they heat large volumes of air first. That air then has to warm the building’s thermal mass.
The issue is simple: hot air escapes through open doors, and is immediately replaced by cold incoming air. You end up constantly reheating fresh cold air, rather than efficiently warming people on the ground.
